# Hero Pay

Hero Pay is a cutting-edge payment gateway designed to make accepting cryptocurrency payments simple, quick, and secure. At present, Hero Pay accepts Bitcoin, with plans to expand to 25 major cryptocurrencies by the end of the year, covering a significant portion of the global crypto market cap.

With Hero Pay, businesses and users can benefit from zero risk, access to over 90 wallets, and a competitive 1.5% transaction fee. Funds are deposited directly into bank accounts across 38 countries in major currencies such as US Dollars, Euros, and GBP.

In July 2024, Hero.io [announced a strategic acquisition of Cryptopay.io](https://markets.financialcontent.com/stocks/article/marketersmedia-2024-7-11-heroio-acquires-cryptopay-to-enhance-integrated-ai-and-defi-tools-ecosystem), a company holding a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license in the EU (Lithuania) to provide Hero Pay services.
